Meltham Golf Club Ladies’ Section
A warm welcome from the ladies’ section! We are a diverse group of ladies of all ages and abilities who care about our members. Our competition day is Wednesday, but for most competitions we have an alternate competition day on Sundays for those with work or family commitments. If competitions aren’t your thing, there is ample opportunity to play social golf and maybe even give the Sunday roll-up a go. We are committed to growth, inclusion and diversity and welcome new members of all abilities with open arms.
- We field 2 teams in the YLCGA interclub championships – playing 3 home and 3 away matches per team each season
- We enter ladies in the YLCGA Foursomes event every year
- Our Ladies have represented MGC in competitions throughout the Yorkshire region and beyond
- Annually we host Ladies Open competitions and an invitation attracting players from other clubs
- We host many social activities throughout the year including a Sunday Driver, Away Day/Exchange Day and non-golf activities like Fashion Shows and demonstration events.
- We have a Golf Buddy Scheme for new members, so there is always someone to help, give advice or just play a few holes with.
