I visited the Childrenโs hospital yesterday with Polly to present the cheque for ยฃ3684.01 I raised in my captains year.
I would like to thank you all for your help and donations throughout the year and to BM Packaging for all their support too.
Below are some of the things the money you donated will go towards which I am sure you will be pleased to see.
– ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ and accessories pain relief and distraction devices, which are used when patients are receiving painful injections or blood samples are being taken.
– ๐๐ง๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐
๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐
๐ฎ๐ง ๐๐๐ฒ which is organised by the team to encourage patients to participate in different physical activities together and promote healthy eating, this also provides the opportunity for families to meet each other and share their experiences of the impact that Juvenile Arthritis can have.
– ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก books and journals to provide a resource for patients to help if they are struggling with their mood, confidence and anxiety.
