Professional
Paul Davies, the club professional, has been at Meltham since 1989. He has built up a wealth of knowledge of the course and golf equipment - and of course, great teaching expertise.
All visitors and members with guests should report to the pro’s shop prior to playing the course, where Paul will be happy to assist you with your green fees and tee times, and direct you to the amenities both in the clubhouse and on the course.

Shop hours
The well-stocked shop carries an extensive range of merchandise. Whatever your requirements, Paul will look after your needs.
Summer: 8.30am to 6.30pm
Winter: 8.30am to 4.30pm
In addition to the goods on display, Paul will be happy to search out clothes and equipment for customers.
Tuition
It is not necessary to be a Meltham Golf Club member to book a lesson. Beginners and experienced players are equally welcome.
Individual lessons, e.g. swing, short game and putting are charged at £18 per half-hour. Nine-hole playing lessons are £35. Small group lessons can be arranged with the price dependent on on the size of the group.

Equipment
As well as selling golf clothing and equipment, Paul also provides a repair and modification service, e.g. for:
- Regrips
- Reshafts
- Shortening shafts
- Cleat/spike replacements
Prices will depend on the nature of the request.
