MGC KITCHEN UPS ITS RATING
Congratulations to L and T Catering (Tony and Linda) for earning an additional star from the Kirklees Council Environmental Health Service. Following an unannounced inspection on 29th November2011 under the Scores on the Doors scheme, the rating rose from 3 to 4 Stars (out of a maximum of 5). This is a statement of the hygiene standard of the kitchen. It covers the way in which food is stored , handled and cooked and the way that records are kept to ensure that these standards are maintained. Particular strengths were the support of staff for the management of the kitchen and the way this translated into high morale and commitment.
The kitchen is unlikely to be inspected for a further 18 months when it would be fantastic to reach a five star rating.
